About Me

An E.C.A.D.R. Dog

I like to call her "Peggy Sue" and she seems to answer to it. Peggy doesn't try to get on the furniture, but she will paw at you, or the furniture, if she has to go potty. Still won't go out through the doggy door - however, she will COME BACK IN on her own! And she can hold it all night if she has to.

She's been content to sleep in her own little bed on the floor, but we recently tried letting her sleep in the bed with us. Now, she paws at the bed when it's "night-night" time, and we pick her up to sleep on the bed. She stays there ALL NIGHT and even tries to play under the covers!!!

She hops around (yes, HOPS) and tries to play with some of the other dogs now. For a while, all she did was sleep in her bed, potty, and eat. I still can't believe the vet said she weighed 12 pounds 'cause she seems much heavier! She eats well, drinks well, and is learning the routines of the house. She is a pleasure to walk, staying right by your side and not walking ahead of you.

She's a wonderful girl and, at 11, acts younger than Coco, our other 11 yr-old foster Pug! As you can see from the pictures, they are like 2 peas in a pod!

Peggy is being fostered in Beckley, WV and her asking adoption fee is $125. However, Peggy and Coco could go as a pair (like potato chips, you can't have just one!) for just $200.

E-MAIL INQUIRIES WILL BE RESPONDED TO MUCH FASTER THAN TELEPHONE CALLS.

NOTE: Due to the volatile price of gas, getting multiple volunteers to help with long distance transporting is no longer feasible. We have listed the town and state where each dog is being fostered. Please consider how far you are willing to travel when filling out the application. The foster home will usually volunteer to help with transport for a reasonable distance.
