Up For adoption

Our dogs are being fostered by our volunteers in various parts of the eastern United States. Due to the high cost of gas, getting multiple volunteers to help with long distance transporting is no longer feasible. We have listed the town and state where each dog is being fostered. Please consider how far you are willing to travel when filling out the application. The foster home will usually volunteer to help with transport for a reasonable distance.

mock Featured Dog of the Month -- Duce

Duce is our Featured Dog of the month.

mock Featured Happy Tails Dog -- Missy

Missy's Story

Ten years ago tomorrow, I adopted Missy. I will always be grateful to the East Coast Asian Dog Rescue for rescuing her during her time in need. Missy was a pregnant stray found in the streets of PA. She was three days away from giving birth and homeless when an ECADR volunteer took her into her home and agreed to foster Missy and her puppies.

Special Needs

ECADR has rescued dogs in just about every physical condition you can think of. A very special needs dog is a dog that has an ongoing medical condition that may need continuous care. These dogs would normally be euthanized in a kill shelter. We believe that there is love to get and give even with a special needs dog. Our volunteers take them into their homes and provide love and care.
